🌏 Jung-gu Youth Global Cultural Exchange
Local and international young people are invited to join a cultural exchange program in Jung-gu, Daegu!
🧡 Program 1. Local Tour
Put on hanbok and explore Jung-gu's historical and cultural sites, as well as popular urban spaces for young people.
Experience the diverse charm of Jung-gu and discover the local culture together as you walk through the neighborhood.
📌 Tour Highlights
Hanbok Experience → Multicultural Food Experience → Gyeongsang Gamyeong Park → Hyangchon Cultural Center → Café with a View of Jung-gu
💚 Program 2. Cultural Exchange at ITPLE
① Daegu Dialect & Everyday Expressions
This is not a formal language class. It is a chance to naturally share the words and expressions we use in everyday life.
Local participants will introduce the Daegu dialect and common local expressions, while international participants will share everyday words and expressions used by young people in their home countries.
② Coffee Grounds Upcycling: Crafts Inspired by Korean Heritage
☕ Turn discarded coffee grounds into a unique craft inspired by Korean cultural heritage!
Learn about coffee grounds as an upcycling material, explore the features of Korean artifacts, and create your own piece.
📅 Date: Saturday, October 24, 2026
⏰ Time: 1:00–6:00 p.m.
📍 Location: ITPLE, Jung-gu Youth Support Center, and locations around downtown Jung-gu, Daegu
Center address: Unit I-3, Daehyeon Free Mall (Daegu Branch), 580 Gukchaebosang-ro, Jung-gu, Daegu, South Korea
※ You can reach the venue more quickly by using the underground shopping mall at Daehyeon Free Mall from the 2.28 Memorial Park bus stop.
※ If you are driving, please use the 2.28 Memorial Park parking lot.
Parking fees will not be covered.

① 대구 사투리 & 일상언어 나누기
대구 사투리, 국가별 생활용어, 각 나라의 청년 표현을 함께 나누며 서로의 일상과 문화를 알아가 보세요!
② 커피박 업사이클링 한국 유물 만들기
☕ 버려지는 커피박(커피찌꺼기) 을 활용해 한국 유물을 모티브로 한 작품을 직접 만들어봅니다.
커피박 소재와 한국 유물의 특징을 살펴보고, 나만의 작품을 제작하며 한국문화 체험과 자원순환을 함께 경험해보세요!

※ 2.28기념공원 정류장에서 대현프리몰 지하상가를 이용하면 더 빠르게 도착할 수 있습니다.
※ 주차 시 2.28기념공원 주차장을 이용해 주세요.
